a poem based on archer’s voice

a silent morning

winds dancing through trees

standing side by side

you and I

the boy without a voice

the girl without a home

dandelion wishes wrapped through time

a hole through my heart

through your voice

you gave me back my darkened heart

gave you back the voice that left you silenced

through hands we found our wishes

swaying on the open sea

hand in hand

we got back what was ours

once left to the people who took them

until they came back grasping

but we had fields of wishes

keeping us from the darkened glass

we danced with our wishes wrapped around

you and I

speaking not with words

our hands found their way to talk

although silent never silenced

with our dandelion wishes
